I have read one of their books, listened to their podcasts, and watched their documentary. I practice minimalism / intentionalism and they still kind of creep me out.

One example of a kids show that can be amazing is Avatar: The Last Airbender (AMAZING) and Legend of Korra (LoK is also awesome, fight me). Just because it's a kids show doesn't mean that it can't have a good plot and character development, or that it doesn't have to be good. It just means that it's a show for all audiences, for the general audience that you can watch as a family and all enjoy. It's sad how many people use the "it's a kids show" as an excuse.
